Likewise, an Indonesian man who seems to love his workplace excessively, chose to name his newborn son after the department he works in.

Memorable name

According to a report by Indonesian website Kompas, the man known as Slamet ‘Yoga’ Wahyudi named his son ‘Dinas Komunikasi Informatika Statistik, which translates to Department of Statistical Communication.

Slamet knows that the name can be quite a mouthful, so the baby will be called Dinko for short.

The 38-year-old told the news portal that he and his then pregnant wife had agreed that he would be choosing the baby’s name if the child comes out a boy.

While he admitted that the name does sound strange the first time he heard it, he was glad that his wife didn’t object to it.

The couple’s friends and family, however, remained sceptical over the name, but the couple decided to stick with the name.

Slamet told the news portal that he hopes his son, little Dinas Komunikasi Informatika Statistik, will be a pious person who is devoted to his family.
