The Skechers Max Cushioning Series Are Seriously Comfortable

Full disclosure: We were provided a pair of Skechers Max Cushioning Essential for consideration. Having worn them, we'd consider them comfrotable, the most comfortable pair of shoes we've worn in fact.

The last truly comfortable shoe this writer has worn in the last five years was his Nike Free RN Flyknit 2017. The Nike logo has fallen off from the shoe and the soles have also come off. But they were still the most comfortable pair of trainers he's ever owned.

We received this pair knowing that Skechers were the trademarked, Comfort Technology Copmany, but never really understanding why.

Today we finally understand, these are a pair of extremely comfortable shoes.

Besides the Essential that we got (retail price RM399) there's the Hyper Craze and Delta, retailing for RM599 and RM499 respectively. The top of the line Hyper Craze also comes with Goodyear Performance Outsoles. Actual tyre technology on the bottom of your shoes.

The max cushion is max thick and feels like you're walking on a cloud. The mesh design also makes it easy to pop your feet in or out. They're also machine wash friendly. Its guide mentions to use the gentle cycle though, so don't throw these in together with your jeans. Unless you want to buy a new washing machine.

Not to put too fine a point on it, we're big fans of the comfort of this shoe. They're shoes you just put on and go from the office to the gym.

That said, there's a reason why in 35 years, this writer has never, not once, bought a pair of Skechers. They're just not the best looking shoe out there. But if you're not in the market for fashion or chasing trends, these are extremely comfortable and multi-functional.

These shoes are purpose-built for comfort, not for drip and if you can get pas this fact, they're just a dream to walk with.
