According to the video, it is understood that if there's extra money gained from the sales, the inmates would be treated with delicious meals.

A fan favourite

Apparently, the products sold in Galeri Produk My Pride had long been a fan among many Malaysians. Many TikTok users praised the frozen curry puffs, while others said they've been buying their kuih raya here since two years ago.

“My uncle is a warden at Kajang Prison. Everytime he would return to our hometown, he would bring some curry puffs from here. It's so delicious, and some have mutton as the filling.”

One TikTok user also took it upon himself to share another service that you can get done by the prison inmates, which is tailoring.

They shared, “You can also have your Baju Melayu made here. Seriously, their work is so neat, and it doesn't cost much compared to other tailors. But you need to bring your own clothing sample, they'll return it once your clothing is done.”
