One of the best way to travel to another country is through food. This is the goal for McDonald's Malaysia.

The fast food chain is taking Malaysians on a flavour journey all the way to Portugal with the new Portuguese Chicken Burger.

Inspired by the sights, sounds and flavours of the country that bestowed us with Cristiano Ronaldo, the limited edition burger is the second item introduced as part of McDonald's Malaysia's 'Discover the World 2019' campaign.

McDonald's Malaysia Marketing Director Eugene Lee and Vice President & Chief Marketing Melati Abdul Hai.
The mouth-watering burger bursts with rich flavours and spices that are distinctly Portuguese, featuring a juicy fried chicken patty, dipped in piri-piri sauce, served with a bed of mixed vegetables, all sandwiched between a chilli flake bun.

Now, no meal is complete without dessert. So to pair with the Portuguese Chicken Burger, the Dinosaur McFlurry makes a comeback, decorated in swirls of chocolatey goodness and chocolate cereal toppings.

The Portuguese Chicken Burger set meal is served with french fries and a Fanta Grape McFreeze or regular Coke, at RM16.99.

Besides filling our tummies, McDonald's Malaysia will also be introducing a new Augmented Reality game called 'Catching Nonando' starting 4 July.

Catching Nonando and get cheaper burgers.
In this game, you need to catch as many Nonando Chickens as you can within 60 seconds to collect points.

These points will then act as rewards with discounts on the Portuguese Chicken Burger, which of course, depends on how many Nonandos you successfully catch.

To make things even more challenging, there will be a nationwide leaderboard to track the top players across Malaysia. By the end of the campaign, the first-place winner will walk away with up to 50,000 AirAsia BIG Points.

Visit McDonald's Malaysia's website or Facebook page to play the game.

Remember, the Portuguese Chicken Burger is only available for a limited time and while stocks last, so hurry and get yourself one!
