When you can’t go to the bar, bring the bar to you!

This was exactly what a UK family did as part of their lockdown project.

According to a report by Daily Star, the family of nine built a Las Vegas-themed sports bar in their back garden to spend time together.





The report quoting the family’s carpenter father John O'Grady, O’ Gradys Bar has a pool table, three televisions, a game room, a jukebox and barrels of draught beer.

The project, which involved the entire family in the designing process, costed RM252,951.

“The Vegas-themed sports bar has memorabilia from all the places we have been.

“Most of our Friday and Saturday nights are spent together as a family while Sunday afternoons are reserved for watching football matches,” he said.

He added that he also got a helping hand from friends, one of whom is a graffiti artist and another who delivers beer kegs.
