The young people of Malaysia have clearly expressed their aspirations for a brighter future during the 14th General Election two weeks ago.
Their concerns are legitimate and it is important that their voices are heard by the leaders.
So last week, UNICEF Malaysia invited children and youth across Malaysia to write letter to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to convey their wishes for the future in a campaigned titled #LettertomyPM.
As a result, dozens of letters came through with hopes and wishes for their education, participation, the environment, and even for the welfare of stateless refugee children.
Read through some of these letters and you'll be proud to know that our Malaysian kids and youth have a bright future ahead of them.
Don't take these words lightly because the future of Malaysia belongs to the children and youth.
UNICEF Malaysia is still accepting more letters, so if you have a child, younger sibling, cousin, niece or nephew who would like to participate, just follow the instructions below.
