Norwahida Ismail managed to tug at Malaysians' heartstrings by sharing a video clip of her daily lunch break with her father.The video, which was uploaded onto TikTok, has gone viral with over 1.4 million views to date.
In the video, Norwahida's 70-year-old father can be seen waiting for her patiently outside her office before both of them head to lunch together.

Norwahida, who works as an accounts executive, told Malay Mail that her mother passed away 15 years ago, and her father has been staying with her sister in Seberang Perai ever since.
But when she goes off to work and only comes home in the evening, Norwahida said her father would get lonely as he does not have friends to have lunch with.
“So he rides his motorbike all the way to my workplace, which is also in Bukit Mertajam,” she was quoted as saying.

Prior to this, her father would visit her at work and have lunch with her two or three times a week, but Norwahida shared that he has been coming to her office almost everyday to spend time with her this past month.
And Norwahida certainly doesn't mind that at all. In fact, she would sometimes bring her friends along too.
“Dad looks forward to our lunch and has no problems hanging out with my friends too.
“Most weekends, my family and I spend time with dad and my husband does not mind me spending too much time with him," she told Malay Mail.
Norwahida added that her dad means so much to her, she wants to spend every moment that she can with him.
