A video showing a driver of a yellow Lamborghini Aventador slipping under a boom gate at a toll booth just to avoid paying the toll has made its round on social media.The seven-second video was uploaded onto social media site TikTok by user @kennytiew0821, and it has so far gotten more than 1.4 million views.
In the video, the supercar can be seen slowly approaching the SmartTAG lane at a toll booth and just when everyone thought the driver would slow down to pay for the toll, he/she slipped under the boom gate and zoomed away.

Baffled netizens were quick to leave nasty comments (and righfully so, in this case) on the video.
Most of comments were directed at the driver, criticising him/her for skipping on paying a RM2.50 toll when he/she can clearly afford to buy a RM2mil supercar:

Debunking myths
There were also users who defended the driver of the Lamborghini, saying that he/she had already paid the toll, and it's a common thing for the sensors to not detect a vehicle sitting as low to the ground as a Lamborghini.However, @kennytiew0821 rejected the ideas, saying that the screen at the toll booth showed the words 'BAKI KURANG (low balance)' when the Lamborghini was approaching the toll gate.
On top of that, the moment the supercar zoomed away, the yellow siren light started flashing, which is a clear indication that payment wasn't captured.
The 'debate' in the comment section got so heated, @kennytiew0821 even made another TikTok video of him driving through a SmartTAG lane for comparisons sake:
