We know how excited some of you must be to see your friends, especially when you've been a good citizen by staying at home during the various movement control orders (MCOs).

But before you get too excited, remember to look carefully to save yourself some blushes.

A (hilarious) honest mistake

A girl became an internet sensation overnight when a video showing her entering the wrong car thinking it was her friend's went viral on social media recently.

In the 15-second video, the girl, who goes by the name of octavianst on social media site TikTok, can be seen excitedly walking towards a car parked by the side of the road while recording a video for social media, like what the young ones do these days.

When she swung the door open, she got the shock of her life - the guy sitting in the driver's seat is not her friend.

To make the entire scene more hilarious, the stranger looked as shocked as her:


Probably wishing the ground would open up and swallow her whole, the embarassed girl quickly slammed the door shut and ran towards another car parked just right in front.

Thankfully for her, she got into the correct car this time, but unfortunately for her, her friend witnessed the entire embarassing encounter and he wasn't shy about letting her know.

"Kau masuk ke mana bodoh? (Where did you enter, moron?)," her friend can be heard asking.

At the time of writing, the clip has been viewed more than 2.8 million times, and garnered almost 430,000 likes.

Those who watched the hilarious encounter assured the poor girl that her mistake was relatable, because it could happen to anyone.

So, the moral of the story is: don't simply enter a car before first making sure that your friend is inside.
