No thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual pilgrimage to go check out the cherry blossoms in Japan has been cancelled.

Yeah, we know; it's super disappointing.

Like eating real sakura flowers


The ice cream brand has just released their brand new flavour - Magnum Cherry Blossoms.

As you can probably guess from its name, the new flavour is inspired by the springtime Sakura bloom that the Land of the Rising Sun is famous for.

The outer shell of the ice cream is made out of pink Belgian chocolate - with real cherry pieces!


And once you've made your way past the outer layer, you will be greeted by the velvety Sakura-flavoured ice cream, dipped with cherry sauce, that is underneath.

Magnum promises that it'll be like eating real sakura flowers, but more hygienic, of course.


If you want a taste of sakura in your mouth, the Magnum Cherry Blossoms is now available at all leading supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, and petrol marts for the price of RM4.50.
