Well, an 11-year-old Malaysian boy won the WCA (World Cube Association) World Championship 2019 in the speedcubing with feet category!
Speedcubing is a hobby that involves solving a variety of twisty puzzles, such as the Rubik’s cube.
Lim Hung made history by being the first Malaysian to clinch the top prize in the biennial world championship held in Melbourne, Australia last Sunday, clocking in at 23.29 seconds (average) and 17.10 seconds (single).
According to a report by The Star, he is currently in the second spot in the world for speedcubing (the 3x3x3) with feet.
“Now, I’m officially ranked second fastest in the world. I’m happy that I made it,” he said.
Lin Hung beat 59 competitors from 21 countries to win the competition.
Nevertheless, this achievement doesn’t stop him from dreaming bigger. Next, he aims to create a world record.
“I will work towards the world record, I guess. It’s pretty hard though, but I’ll try my best.”
