2017 Grammys: Pregnant Beyoncé Almost Fell Off A Chair, Adele Snaps Award Into Two

Everyone knows Beyoncé will put up a badass show each time she performs live, but no one could’ve ever imagined the scale of performance that she was going to set at this year’s Grammy. After announcing her twin pregnancy recently, everyone figured maybe she’d toned down a bit with her performance. But hell no, she pulled out all the stops and put on a show that put you and her at the edge of your seats – literally.

She opened her performance by confusing the hell out of us thanks to a super-cool hologram sequence and topped it off with one of the most unimaginable things, sitting in a chair that was automatically reclined approximately 150 degrees backwards. Mind blown! At that moment, our hearts were racing faster than the speed of light, worried that she might fall off.

Adele ‘Robbed’ Everyone of Their Awards

Like "Hello", what do you expect when Adele is nominated for five categories in the Grammys? To go home empty-handed? Of course, not! The sultry songstress snagged not one, not two but ALL the awards she was nominated for. People say “go big or go home” and indeed, she won big and went home happily.

When her named was called out for Album of The Year, she was in disbelief and utterly shocked. She had honestly thought Beyoncé should’ve deserved the award and did something that was never done in any entertainment award history – she broke the trophy into two, extending one half of it to Beyoncé. “I can’t possibly accept this award,” she said. She continued to sing praises for the expecting mother and said that Lemonade was “monumental”.

Twenty One Pilots ‘Forgot’ To Put Some Pants On

The band won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and went on stage with a full suit sans pants. Apparently, they made a pack in their undies while watching the Grammys before they were famous. “If we ever go to the GRAMMYs, if we ever win a GRAMMY, we should receive it just like this.”
