4yo Girl Inducted in Malaysia Book Of Records for Identifying All 118 Periodic Table Elements
While many kids her age were just learning their ABCs, Jeimithra Vasagam, 4, already has her name inducted into the Malaysia Book of Records after she identified all 118 elements of the periodic table.
The impressive part is she did so in under 2 minutes!
This achievement also earned her recognition in the India Book of Records, the Worldwide Book of Records, and the Asia Book of Records.
This is not her first national record

It turns out that this is not Jeimithra's first time being awarded the national record. A year ago, she also made headlines when she was able to identify flags from 195 countries in 3 minutes and 5 seconds.
According to Jeimithra's mother, Dr Mathi Vathani, 30, her schedule starts with her going to kindergarten. Once she returns home, she will rest, have playtime, half an hour of piano practice, study the periodic table for five or ten minutes, and sleep early.
“I make her learn five elements per day. When the words are difficult, I make it to three or two per day,” said Dr Mathi.
Jeimithra's diet and her family's firm restriction on screen time were also key to her success, reported NST.
Dr Mathi said her family had completely eliminated sugary and processed foods from Jeimithra's diet. They also avoid giving her candy and chocolate to prevent hyperactivity. Instead, the family opted for protein—and calcium-rich meals.
What a smart girl!
