5yo M'sian Boy Solves Maths Questions in Seconds & is Able to Read Spanish, Russian & Jawi

A five-year-old boy was dubbed a human calculator after he solved 10 mathematical equations without a calculator in less than 60 seconds.

Uwais Mohammad Zulqarnain from Johor Bahru excels in one-digit multiplication and can also read Spanish, Russian, and Jawi.

According to his mother, Surya Syafiqah A Rahim, 32, Uwais began mastering mathematics progressively from the age of four.

She added that Uwais can calculate numbers ranging from hundreds to trillions and is also capable of working with powers and square roots.

Surya said his eldest son's abilities stem from his dedication and also encouragement from both her and her husband.

“Uwais has a keen interest in learning various languages, including Spanish and Russian, and he teaches himself using online resources with our supervision.”

Due to his ability, Uwais has been attending maths class since he was six years old. He has also won several awards at his school, including awards for academic excellence and outstanding performance in maths.
