Another Dead Cat Allegedly Found Mutilated in UM, Body Has Been Taken by the Police
University Malaya Students’ Union (KMUM), through an Instagram story, revealed that another dead cat was found mutilated on their campus.
According to their Instagram story, the body was found at the Faculty of Medicine.

Upon inspection, the cat was said to have an open wound on its abdomen, and its intestines were missing. The poor feline was also missing its right hindlimb.
A police report has been lodged, and according to the University Malaya Students’ Union Faculty of Medicine (UMSUFOM), the body of the feline had been taken by the Investigation Officer from IPD Brickfields to be sent for autopsy.

Animal rescuer Shima Aris also shared the news of the finding of yet another mutilated cat on her Instagram. The animal activist who had previously revealed the autopsy result of another feline who was found dead in the same way had called for a proper autopsy to be done.

Previously, it was reported that a number of stray cats were found dead at multiple spots in UM, with their limbs cut and abdomen sliced. Initially, police said the cats were victims of wild dogs, but many members of the public disagreed.
