Speaking of doing our part, the management of one apartment in Bandar Baru Bangi proactively come up with an ingenious way of keeping COVID-19 at bay.

To protect residents from touching possibly contaminated lift buttons, the management of Pangsapuri Anggun came up with an interesting solution involving toothpicks.

Other than the toothpick system, apartment officials also disinfect frequently touched surfaces within the vicinity, including car door handles.

Sanitisers are also provided near their lifts.

One resident, news anchor Luqman Hariz said that he was proud of the management for introducing the measures.

"At a time when the government and authorities have their hands full with controlling this pandemic from spreading further, it is so refreshing to see that some entities are taking proactive measures on their own and playing their part to ensure everyone is protected," he said.
