An Australian man who wanted to do something other than his day job of being a truck driver, decided to offer a very unique service instead.

Australian, Jake Orr, advertised himself offering to be a part-time father figure for A$30 (RM90.95) per hour.

Called “Rent-A-Daddy”, Orr wrote on his social media pages that the service he offers includes spending time with kids, attend their sporting events, teaching them life skills and also picking up and dropping off kids to school.

A joke?

According to a report in Malay Mail, Orr also advertised that he would charge additional fees for making appearances at family events, birthday parties, family selfies and to change their Facebook relationship status.

It's still not clear if Orr was joking or was actually serious but netizens seem to love it.

The post was shared close to 2,000 times with comments pouring in from all over the world.

Looks like Orr may be on to something.

Anyone up for daddy rental services in Malaysia?
