Remember the "Tree Man" from Bangladesh who has bark-like growths on his body?

Well, he is willing to have his hands amputated because the pain is too unbearable!

Since 2016, Abul Bajandar had undergone 25 operations to remove the growths from his hands and feet at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

According to Sinar Harian, his treatment was nearly successful, but the 28-year-old had a relapse and had to be hospitalised again.

"I cannot bear the pain anymore. I can't sleep at night. I asked the doctors to cut off my hands so I can at least get some relief," he said.

He is begging the doctors to cut off his hands.
Prior to this, the country’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina promised free treatment for him after his plight came to light.

He was given a private cabin to live with his wife and daughter for nearly two years during the first round of treatment.

It is understood that he is suffering from epidermodysplasia verruciformis, a rare genetic condition also known as the "tree man syndrome".
