Catching up to other mobile phone brands, the iPhone is finally water-resistant... but don't take it on your next diving trip just yet. The key word here is "resistant". It is NOT water proof, which means that at best, the phone will only be able to withstand up to 30 minutes of being submerged in waters that is no deeper than 1m. Plus, water damage is not covered under the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus warranty.A stereo speaker so you can crank it up!
The new stereo speaker system is twice as loud as that of iPhone 6's.There is no headphone jack!
Doing away with the typical headphone jack, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will allow the connection of headphones via its Lighning port, which comes free with the phone, along with an adaptor. Riding on this change (and to make more money, duh!), Apple has also introduced the AirPods, which will be released in October.

The wireless headphones can last up to five hours, and come equipped with a microphone and infrared sensors that will enable to headphones to play only when plugged into your ear. You can also connect it to other Apple devices. Purchase of the AirPods will also include a charging case. Sure, these babies may not have the annoying cable that usually gets in the way or gets into a tangled mess, but we foresee many people losing and misplacing them a lot easier too!Dual-lens camera for Plus!

There's the Optical Image Stabilization to help with all your blurry photo woes, plus the f/1.8 Aperture, which basically means that your pictures and videos will be twice as bright as the iPhone 6. Plus, all you FaceTimersand selfie fans will welcome the new 7MP front-facing camera, which also incorporates the Retina Flash, a feature that matches the ambient light to give you more natural-looking skin tones.

Now, for the bad news. Malaysians will have to wait a while longer before the model arrives on our shores... or you could head down to our neighbour, Singapore, where the phones will be available from September 16 onwards. Apple will also be accepting pre-orders beginning September 9. The price of the phone in Malaysia has yet to be announced but in the US, it will set you back from US$649 (for iPhone 7) and US$769 (for iPhone 7 Plus).
