The latest in anger-inducing reports is that of Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Khairuddin Aman Razali's quarantine breach being classified as "No Further Action" (NFA) by the Attorney-General office.
Bukit Aman CID chief Huzir Mohamed said that the decision was made as the minister was not ordered to undergo quarantine.

"NFA because information shows that YB minister was not given 14b under Section 15(1) Act 342," he said during a press conference.
He added that there was no strong evidence to take any action or charge the minister under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.
Eh, we thought EVERYONE had to go through quarantine after returning from overseas especially in July when the minister returned from Turkey? Are we wrong?
Since then, the people have been calling for stern action against Khairuddin.
After the public outcry, he was issued a summon of RM1,000 by the Health Ministry but people were not happy as he also attended events and put the lives of many in danger.
Netizens are furious, calling it double standard
People have been calling out the government for practicing "double standards" when it comes to implementation of SOPs, as well as action taken against those who breach them.We can trace the beginning of the outcry to Khairuddin's case and it has just gotten louder since then.
However, the powers to be seem to be unfazed and stand by their statement that there are no double standards in this country.
Netizen, as usual, are not buying it.
Waited more than 100 days only for the government to decide no further action against the Pas minister who breached quarantine.

What are the leaders telling us?
"Do as I say, not as I do."
What a tragedy. Wake up, PM and cabinet! https://t.co/5O0C8PmcHU
This doesn't make sense. If Khairuddin wasn't given a home quarantine order, according to police, then why did MOH compound him RM1k and why did he pay it? What was the fine for, if he supposedly didn't commit an offence?https://t.co/t6ZQ3uUt7z

No further action against minister because no #Covid_19 quarantine form?
— Jahabar Sadiq (@jsadiq) October 21, 2020
Is the officer who handled him stupid?
Is the minister ignorant?
Get cops who issue summons to all to do this work.
Sack the officer who screwed up.
The minister? Vote him, his double standards govt out.
Minister not being charged because he had "not been issued the form to undergo quarantine upon his return."

Sorry, that just doesn't cut it. Why wasn't he issued the form? Is there a case to be made for abuse of power? On whose orders he was exempted? https://t.co/6gplil6OhY
#TIL "No Double Standards" is the euphemism for "No Further Action". https://t.co/xHr5UHUGUu
