Remember how we reported earlier that China is racing against the clock to build a hospital in 10 days to treat people infected with the deadly coronavirus?

At that time, many were wondering if the feat was even possible in such a short amount of time.

Guess what? The country has beat all odds and shut down naysayers by opening the hospital in just eight days!

Wow!

Worked around the clock

The hospital, Huoshenshan, or “fire-god mountain" was a replica of a hospital built in Beijing in 2003 to cater for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) patients.

According to a report by The New York Times, construction teams made up of was more than 7,500 workers worked around the clock to build the hospital.

The 60,000-square meter hospital will reportedly have 1,000 beds and 30 intensive care wards.

It will be staffed by 1,400 army medics, the news portal reported.

Guys, never, never underestimate the power of determination and hard work!
