Couple Finds Two Puppies Abandoned in a Locked Cage While Cycling in Johor

In a video posted on TikTok, the couple was cycling near the Kota Tinggi Waterfall area when they noticed something in the bushes. Upon closer inspection, they were shocked to find two live puppies locked inside a cage.

According to the man, known by his username @zoolgaban, the area was about 20 to 30 kilometers from his home, with no residential buildings or orchards nearby. He concluded that the puppies were likely abandoned there on purpose.

Apparently, in an attempt to escape, the puppies had knocked over the locked cage before the couple found them. It remains unclear how long the animals had been left there.

At the end of the video, the puppies were safely released. However, since the couple couldn’t take them home, the puppies continued living in the area.

In a follow-up video, the couple returned the next day to feed the puppies and repair the cage to provide proper shelter from the elements.

Needless to say, many social media users praised the couple for their swift and compassionate actions. Others expressed outrage at the cruelty of those responsible.

“That's so evil! Even if you don't want them anymore, don't lock them up," said a user.

Another commented, “How could they just throw the puppies like that? Plus, it's in an abandoned street and inside a locked cage!”
