However, that doesn't mean that we're out of the woods yet.
In fact, D-Day is coming up real soon.
Government is monitoring the situation
The Health Ministry said on Wednesday (13 May) that the government may again tighten the MCO if they see a surge in cases.
So, when is D-Day, you ask?
Well, Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah told Channel News Asia that the government is looking at 18 May to see if drastic actions need to be taken when it comes to the MCO.
That's because according to Dr Noor Hisham, 18 May would mark the end of the 14-day incubation period since the CMCO started on 4 May.
He told CNA that the government is closely monitoring the situation day-to-day for now and they will only make a decision when the time comes.
“We have seen the outcome of the MCO, which is the flattening of the curve. As for the conditional MCO, we have not seen the outcome yet. The outcome will start (to be clearer) on 18 May," he was quoted as saying.
If the number of cases are within their control, the government will consider opening up more sectors.
However, if the number of cases pick up after 18 May, "then we have to reverse our decision.”
Therefore, Dr Noor Hisham stressed that the key to the success now lies in the hands of Malaysians.
