Do you have Ikea furniture lying around in your house and you think it has served its purpose?


Instead of throwing them out, you can actually sell them back to Ikea soon.

Yes, you read that right.

The world’s largest furniture chain announced that it would be buying back used furniture from customers as part of its 'Buy Back Friday' initiative, reported AFP-Relaxnews.

The best part of is that Ikea said that they would be paying 50 per cent of the original furniture’s price in voucher form to customers.

A promotion to coincide with Black Friday

The promotion will not last all year long though.

It is a special offer in line with the coming 'Black Friday' sales.

Buy Back Friday will run from November 24 till December 3 in 27 countries.

Ikea however, have not mentioned how the price of the preloved furniture will be determined as yet.
