eMadani Application Fail? Here's what you can do
Unless you’re living under a rock, you’re probably one of over ten million excited Malaysians who already applied to claim their eMadani credit on 4 December. If you haven’t yet, then check out our how-to guide. Psst: we already received ours!
However, you may have found that your claim was rejected for several reasons:
1. You didn’t submit your LHDN tax filing records for the year 2022. FYI, you have to have an income of less than RM100,000 a year based on Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) records as of July 15, 2023 (if you declared your taxes after this date, you won’t be qualified.
- If you haven’t done so, then visit the MyTax website.
- Input your I.C. or passport number
- On the dashboard, select the e-Filing option > e-Borang
- Select ‘Tiada punca pendapatan perniagaan’ if you have no streams of income or select ‘ada punca pendapatan perniagaan’ if you do. You can select the category that best applies to you if you scroll down.
- Select the year e.g. 2022
- You will be directed to a separate website, and you will be required to fill in the information given by your employer (EA/EC Form)
- When you have filled in all the information, just click submit.
