Exotic Orange Bird Rescued By Hospital Turns Out To Be Seagull Covered In Curry
It seems like seagulls enjoy curry, as much as we Malaysians do! Don’t believe us? Read this.
A wildlife hospital in the United Kingdom received one of its most exotic patients – a bright orange bird.

Vets did not know what to expect at first, as they have not seen a bright orange bird species before, but upon closer inspection, they found out the reason why the unique bird couldn't fly.
In fact, the bird wasn't that unique after all.
"This is one of the strangest casualty circumstances we have seen in a while!,” the hospital said in a Facebook post.
"The seagull had somehow gotten himself covered in curry or turmeric! It was all over his feathers, preventing him from flying properly."
The veterinary staff at the hospital gave the seasgull -- wittily named Vinny in honour of the Vindaloo curry he was covered in -- a proper bath until he returned to his normal colour.

This is not the first time a seagull took a ‘curry bath’. In 2016, it was reported that a seagull fell into a pot of chicken tikka masala while scavenging for food!
See, we told you 'em seagulls love curry as much as us!
