We have heard many famous celebrities from other countries and also our very own country, having Barbie dolls made after them.

Joining the ranks is none other than Malaysia’s artistic gymnast Farah Ann Abdul Hadi.

An inspirational woman.
According to a report in Coconuts KL, the Barbie features Farah Ann’s Barbie jet-black hair and wears a silver-studded leotard in pink, gold, and white.

Notably, the report said that the doll is the first and only kind that will be created.

It is also not for sale.

Honoured by the recognition

“I am very honored to be recognized as a Barbie role model for young girls for sports.

“I believe that all of us are capable in achieving our dreams and goals no matter what it may be.

“You just need to remember that self-belief is your greatest weapon in achieving anything,” Farah Ann was quoted as saying.

Farah Ann’s doll was made as part of American company Mattel’s “You Can Be Anything” campaign for 2020 that aims to encourage young girls to pursue a career in sports through inspiring female athletes.
