The world is full of wonderful creatures that we may have not seen before.

And a group of fishermen in Idonesia just stumbled upon one recently.

One-of-a-kind find

It was dead when the fishermen found it.
According to a report by Ladbible, the fishermen were casting their nets near the Maluku province on 10 October when they caught an adult shark.

As they were cleaning out the belly of the adult shark, the fishermen found three babies - one which was a rare baby albino shark with just one eye.

One of the fishermen, Andy, told the news portal that the colour of baby shark (heh!) was milk-like, and it had only one eye in the middle of its head, while its finds and other body parts had already formed.

Unfortunately, the poor albino baby shark was already dead when they found it.

The baby shark was found in the mother's belly.
Andy added that the adult shark may have been pregnant when it was accidentally caught in a net.

The fishermen then reported their find to the local marine police and handed over the albino baby shark.

It was later determined that the unique baby shark not only had albinism, but also cyclopia, a birth deformity that causes the embryo to form only one eye instead of two.

Sigh, how we wish that the baby shark was still alive. It would be interesting to see an adult, one-eyed albino shark, right?
