We're six months into a pandemic, and despite the government's best efforts, we're still not where we want to be when it comes to controlling the virus.

However, we will take whatever small wins that come our way.

Green once again

Johor Bahru now joins the list.
Malay Mail reported that two more states in the country have been declared COVID-19 free.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has recently declared Johor Bahru and Penang as green zones.

According to the report, the MOH made the declaration after the Segamat, Barat Daya and Timur Laut districts are free from clusters and active cases.

With the redesignation, Johor and Penang join states like Terengganu, Perak, Kelantan and Negri Sembilan as green zones.

Welcome to the club, Penang!
Currently, the remaining states in Malaysia still have active COVID-19 cases.

Kedah leads the pack with 27 cases, while Selangor and Melaka have four and two active cases respectively.

Pahang, Perlis and Kuala Lumpur each have one active case currently.

Let's hope we see more COVID-19 free zones by next week. Keep on fighting the good fight, you guys!

Hope all states will be declared as green zones soon!
