Are you one of those people who sit around Starbucks or McDonald's all day, leeching on free internet because you're too cheapskate to get your own data plan? Well, those days are over!

Now, you can be a cheapskate - but with class!

Internet service provider Telekom Malaysia has launched a brand new app that will enable you to tap into hotspots nationwide and get free WiFi!

Called 'i-foundit!', this app enables Malaysians to use the company's Unifi service at 5,800 hotspots around the country.

What this app does is, it locates available WiFi hotspots around a user and it will automatically connect them to the Unifi service.

Push one button, free WiFi - what's not to love?

But of course, nothing is truly free in this world, right? According to a report by The New Straits Times, the WiFi service will only be free until 31 December 2017.

After that, users will be charged 10 sen per hour for data use. Technically, it's still pretty cheap lah, but the old Maxis saga of yesteryear has taught us that those sens will add up and soon, you'll have to sell your house to pay the bill.

If you insist on getting free WiFi, the 'i-foundit!' app will be available for download via the Google Play Store or App Store soon.
