While Khairy did not mention when exactly these mobile vaccinationation trucks will be deployed, he did, however, said has discussed the matter with Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

Drive-through vaccination

The mobile vaccination truck is one of the additional ways the government has come up with to speed up the vaccination process in the country.

On Sunday (30 May), Khairy also revealed that the government will be introducing a drive-through vaccination system soon.

According to Malay Mail, the decision was made after authorities successfully ran a pilot programme at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in Kubang Kerian, Kelantan.

Khairy added that the government will release more details on the system soon.
