To those who have been yearning to travel since the COVID-19 pandemic happened, we are pretty sure that you guys are excited with the arrival of the vaccine as it may mean you guys can travel again.

Well, that dream is one step closer to reality, it seems.

An incentive to get vaccinated?

The government is reportedly mulling issuing a universal 'passport' to those who've received their vaccination.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong told News Straits Times that ‘a universal certification' may be issued to those who have been vaccinated for them to travel.

The aim of doing this is to revive the aviation sector within the region, Wee said.

"I've discussed this with the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry and the Health Ministry. We need a certification for those who have been vaccinated.

"My Singapore counterpart also contacted me and asked whether we can issue a universal certification," he was quoted as saying,


Despite that, Wee said that those who are travelling in and out of the country would still have to follow strict standard operating procedures set by the government, regardless if they've received their vaccinations or not.

"The vaccination process is under way. We will conduct follow-up actions, and ensure anyone who arrives via our airports follows our standard operating procedures, and (Malaysians) arriving in other countries would no longer need to be quarantined," he further added.

Go to the app's home screen and you'll see a 'COVID-19 Vaccination' button. Click on the button.

You will then be led to this screen, where you'll see a 'Vaccine for ' button.

Click on the button.



The app will then ask you to verify your personal details:





Once you submit your information, you will be led to this 'celebaratory' page (we have no idea what that means).

But to really make sure that you've successfully enroled, click on the 'Next' button at the bottom of your screen.



Click on the 'CLICK HERE' link and you'll then be forwarded to a questionnaire.

Please remember to answer the questions truthfully, because this is literally a matter of life and death.



There will be additional questions for the first two questions if you pick "no" for the first question and "yes" for the second one.







Once you click the 'Submit', congrats; you've been successfully enrolled.

Now, all you have to do is to wait for the authorities to get in touch with you for your next step. Good luck!
