Health DG Dr Noor Hisham Ranked As One Of The Top 3 Doctors In The World During COVID-19 Pandemic
Ever since the country started facing the COVID-19 pandemic and Movement Control Order (MCO), there was one face that we all waited patiently for each day to deliver the news – Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
And it seems that we Malaysians aren’t the only ones who think he’s a reliable doctor who is doing a great job at it.

Chinese media China Global TV Network (CGTN) has named Dr Noor Hisham as one of the top three leading doctors in battling the COVID-19 pandemic. The other two doctors are the US government’s infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fauci and New Zealand’s director-general of health Ashley Bloomfield.
All three doctors were praised for delivering information and facts efficiently to their countrymen, and also for appearing “calm, clear and trustable”.
"None of them are cabinet ministers but all three have emerged as the face of their country's response to Covid-19," CGTN said.
"Amid an unprecedented global pandemic and as governments worldwide have sometimes been slow to react, introducing confusing measures and sending contradictory messages, Dr Fauci, Dr Bloomfield and Dr Hisham have become voices of reason and sources of calm and reassurance.”
CGTN also added that Dr Noor Hisham’s appeal was due to his "low-key image and unassuming air".
Dr Noor Hisham, who has been serving the nation as director-general since 2013, was recently hailed as a national hero by Malaysians for his efforts in fighting the pandemic.
Congratulations Dr Noor Hisham! He is indeed the one of the best doctors in the world and we Malaysians are so grateful to have you during this critical outbreak.
