Helpful Tourists Band Together to Literally Lift & Move Cars Blocking Bus in KL
Yes, sometimes we struggle to find a place to park and might be in a rush, but that’s never an excuse to park illegally. In a TikTok video posted by @abgzul08, a group of foreign tourists had to join hands to literally lift and move cars that were blocking their tour bus.
A group of seven to eight foreigners was seen lifting a grey Proton Saga and using all of their strength to move it to the side. They managed to move it where they wanted to after only two or three attempts. It was also pouring rain, but that didn’t stop the men from getting the job done. They then proceeded to move a four-wheeled drive (which seems to be a Proton X50) behind it as well.

That wasn’t all, the men moved to the opposite side of the road to carry a red Honda. They had to lift the front part of the car before lifting the rear end of it. After all that heavy lifting, they were still in cheerful spirits and still managed to crack jokes.
According to comments by keen-eyed netizens, the location also appeared to be near the Royal Selangor Club Bukit Kiara. According to them, the group appeared to be Brits or Australians who were in town to watch the Maybank golf championship. Others jokingly theorised that they might be a rugby team from Australia.

The championship was held at the same time as another one at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club, which caused drivers to park all over the place. This is still no excuse!
What many netizens wanted to know was where the police were in all this. Some asked, “What puzzles me is where are the police?” Another cheekily said, “Since there are so many of them, why not you just flip the car over? Then the car owner will have to figure out how to flip it back the right way themselves again.”
One netizen sarcastically said, “The Planning Division of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur) are the best. They approve buildings but lack sufficient parking lots. Like the National Science Centre (Pusat Sains Negara). Then, I don’t know how they give approvals for events."

As the number plates of the cars can be seen in the video, we hope that they will receive summonses!
