The heartwarming moment was shared by an employee known as @eyntsh_ on Threads, where she revealed that her boss casually asked the office WhatsApp group whether they wanted duit raya. The message came with a photo of him holding several thick stacks of RM50 notes, a sight that many initially assumed was just a joke.
“Last night, the boss sent a photo in the office group asking if we wanted duit raya. We didn’t take it seriously at first, but it turned out to be real. Thank you, boss,” she wrote.
The post included photos of employees proudly fanning out their duit raya, each bundle neatly packed into bright yellow envelopes.
