Lately, we have seen many budding entrepreneurs and business people coming up with creative masks in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One such creative mask is a type of mask that allows people to eat without taking it off.

The invention is the brainchild of Israeli inventors from Avtipus Patents and Inventions.

The pac-man mask

According to a report in Mothership quoting Reuters, the mask is operated by squeezing a lever, which opens a slot in the front of the mask to allow a person to eat without taking it off.

In fact, the mask will also open automatically when your fork approaches it.

The company has already submitted a patent and once they are available in the market, the would most likely be sold at a premium of between RM3.72 to RM12.39 over regular surgical masks.

Open up!

We don't know about this one. It may work for spaghetti but what about our favourite banana leaf spread?
