By now, most of our frontliners have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and some have even completed their second dose.

While the rest of us Malaysians wait eagerly for our turns, it looks like some of us will potentially be left behind.

Why? Because they failed to register for the vaccination, that's why.

According to a statistic provided by Public Health Malaysia, Sabah tops the list with the poorest vaccination registration rate, followed by Kelantan.

Only 11 per cent and 17 per cent of residents have registered respectively as of 30 March 2021.

We admit, some of our family members or even friends may be IT illiterate or are unaware of the registration process, so it is our duty to help them out!

“Politicians, NGOs, Youth Organisations are urged to be active to help those within the community in registering the for the vaccine.”

Don’t know how to do it via the MySejahter app? Or don’t even have a smartphone to do it?

You can also help them register via www.vaksincovid.gov.my/daftar.

Malaysians agreed with the Facebook posting and urged not only family members but also politicians and Members of Parliament to carry out their duty by running campaigns to bring awareness on the importance of the vaccine and registering for it.

So guys, let’s make sure no one gets left behind and we should all help ensure that everyone around us have registered for the vaccine.
