To support the hardworking frontliners on duty to combat the deadly coronavirus, international artists, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Citizen will perform during a live broadcast called One World: Together At Home.

According to a report in Mashable South East Asia, Lady Gaga was responsible for rallying stars from across the globe to participate in the one-of-a-kind initiative.

The broadcast will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert while the artist line up includes Andrea Bocelli, Burna Boy, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, Sir Elton John, John Legend, Chris Martin, Alanis Morissette, Lizzo, J Balvin, Kacey Musgraves, Sir Paul McCartney, Keith Urban, Eddie Vedder, Stevie Wonder, Maluma, pianist Lang Lang, David Beckham, Idris and Sabrina Elba, Kerry Washington, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and even Shah Rukh Khan.

Proceeds to fund medical equipment

Proceeds from the event will be channelled towards providing an adequate supply of medical equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers across the globe.

One World: Together At Home will be live on April 18 on ABC, CBS, and NBC at 8pm EST, 5pm PST, and 12am GMT.
