Tolls around Malaysia have gone cashless, and recently, e-hailing app Grab has announced that they are implementing the cashless system in stages.
And the latest brand to go the cashless route is one that you would not expect, but they did: Legoland Malaysia is now totally cashless.
No wallet, no problem
Malaysia's leading e-wallet service provider, Touch n' Go eWallet, has joined forces with the theme park to offer its customers a seamless payment experience when they are in the premises.
With this new partnership, you can use your Touch n' Go eWallet to purchase almost anything inside Legoland Malaysia, including admission tickets, food and beverages and yes, even the humoungous LEGO Voltron set you've always wanted to get.
Ignatius Ong, the CEO of TNG Digital Sdn Bhd, said that this partnership is a good next step in transforming Malaysia into a truly digital country.
Kurt Stocks, General Manager at Legoland Malaysia, said that the theme park is always embracing new technologies and enhancing their offerings so that "families can instead spend their time creating life-long memories and learning through play".
