The hottest topic for the past week has been the whole sugar baby/sugar daddy debacle, which has so far led to local dating website Sugarbook being banned in Malaysia:

While the debate rages on, a local philanthropist has decided to become a 'sugar baby', but for a good cause.

'NO DISAPPOINTMENT GUARANTEE'

Kuan Chee Heng, or more affectionately known as Uncle Kentang, is offering himself up for hire.

But before you guys get the wrong idea, he is only 'renting' his body for makan purposes and he's doing it for a good cause.

Uncle Kentang is up for grabs.
Taking to his Facebook page, Uncle Kentang said ladies who are interested in having a candlelight dinner with him can hire him for RM50 an hour - but "ONLY FOR MAKAN" (not makan him, OK?).

If one hour is not enough, they can rent him for two hours for just RM95.

Uncle Kentang wrote that the money collected from the candle light dinners will go to helping those in need of help and feeding the needy.

And here's the best part: Uncle Kentang guarantees that there will be 'no disappointment' - because what you see is what you're gonna get:

On top of helping the needy, Uncle Kentang, who is an entrepeneur, also said that this initiative is part of his 'Saving Malaysia, Lonely Women Campaign', which is aimed at fighting fraud and online scammers.

“Malaysian women give money to virtual lovers... oii... I can say I love you so much a million times to you each day... pay me RM50 a day... money goes to charity,” he wrote.

If you want to hang out with Uncle Kentang, here's his number: 012-2732148. We know this is crazy, but call him maybe?

Who is Uncle Kentang?

Just like fellow philanthropist Ebit Lew, Uncle Kentang is sort of like an every day hero for the underprivileged.

The past couple of years, Uncle Kentang has launched several initiatives aimed at helping the needy:

A 10 sen taxi service

Back in 2017, Uncle Kentang set up a taxi service to ferry the sick to the hospital and back. He only charges them 10 sen per ride.

Always helping the needy.

A RM1 hearse service

In addition to the 10 sen taxi service, Uncle Kentang has also set up a hearse service for those who can't afford it, and he only charges them RM1.

A flea market that sells everything for 10 sen

Collecting pre-loved items ranging from clothes to appliances from the public, Uncle Kentang sets up a flea market for the needy to shop for things. And yep, you guessed it, all the items are sold for just 10 sen.

An app for the needy

Last year, Uncle Kentang and his organisation, Community Policing Malaysia, are hard at work developing an app that the underprivileged can use to get in touch with him should they need assistance.
