There have been countless reports on how the population of tigers across the world have been declining.
However, a photo has recently emerged online, giving us hope that the situation is not so teruk after all.
The beautiful shot, captured in India, shows a mother tiger walking along a sun-drenched forest path with her five cubs in tow.

Mothership reported that the shot is additionally magical as tigers usually give birth to a litter comprising of an average of three cubs.
(This mama tiger had five eager young'uns tagging along on her stroll! Whoot whoot!)
The photo, which has gone viral, was initially shared on Twitter by Parveen Kaswan, whose profile states that he works for the Indian Forest Service, and is a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
Tiger population growing
Miraculously, in India, the number of tigers have been slowly increasing.
BBC reported that the population of 2,226 in 2014 had risen by nearly a third to 2,967 in 2019.
The country is now estimated to contain about 70 per cent of the world’s tigers, thanks to its improved conservation measures, including a strict ban on hunting implemented in 1972.
Maybe Malaysia can emulate this?
