For a country where its citizens spend more time in traffic than at lunch, it's not really surprising.

Traffic navigation app Waze recently released a report on which country in Asia has the most users, and our negara tercinta tops the list.

In fact, Malaysia is ranked among the top five worldwide.

According to the report, a majority of the Waze users are based in big cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baru and Penang.

Waze revealed that Kuala Lumpur tops the list of Asian cities with the most active users, with 2.5 million people logging into the app daily.

Jakarta came in second with 2 million active users while Manila has 1.5 million users.

Waze Global Strategic Partnerships manager Mona Weng Read told The Star Online that Waze will be working closely with several government partners to make travels a little bit more bearable for Malaysians.

For example, they are currently working with the Selangor government on a feature which allows motorists to report potholes on the road, and the authorities will then swoop in to fix them.

That's a pretty awesome feature, but good luck with the reports, Waze.

This is not the first time Waze has shown our country some love; last year, their Driver Satisfaction Index listed Malaysia the best place to drive in all of Southeast Asia.

We don't know where Waze gets their numbers from, because all we see everyday is this:

Red lines are our best friend
