Man Shockingly Exposes Himself & Performs Lewd Act in Front of Women in Selangor Convenience Store

Encounters with flashers are always horrible and scary, but you’d expect to encounter them in a quiet street or a dark alley. Unfortunately, for a woman in Subang Bestari, Selangor, such an incident happened on CU Mart premises in all places.

According to a statement by the Sungai Buloh district police chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor, an 18-year-old girl was in the store with friends on October 7 when the suspect of an unidentified race entered and sat opposite them. He then opened the zip of his pants and started to fondle his private parts in front of them. Gross! The girl and her friends then fled the premises.

She then reported the case to the police, and an investigation was opened under Section 509 of the Penal Code, which pertains to actions that involve words or gestures intended to insult a person’s honour.

If found guilty, the offence can be punishable by imprisonment for up to five years, a fine, or both.

The police chief Superintendent urged those with information on the incident to come to any nearby police station or contact Sergeant Darul Salam Mohamed, the assistant investigating officer, on 013-4519575 to assist with the investigation.
