Marrybrown said "G'day Mate" to residents in Victoria, Australia recently bringing Malaysian halal fast food chain to a new territory overseas.

Located at Burwood One Shopping Centre, the successful Malaysian QSR chain will introduce local staples like nasi lemak, nasi goreng with satay, curry rice, and generous helpings of fried chicken.



It also has plans to open 2 new outlets at downtown Melbourne CBD before the end of the year with one location confirmed to be at the Crown Casino, a resort and casino in the city.

Here's hoping they achieve the same success that other Malaysian food like Mamak has received in the past.

Speaking to the press at the launch event, Dato Joshua Liew, CEO of Marry brown said:

“Our plans for the future include building on the success of our Melbourne locations and expanding to other cities across Australia, such as Sydney and Perth. We believe that everyone should have access to high-quality Halal food, and we're committed to serving delicious and affordable meals to all our customers.”

Marrybrown currently has 500 restaurants across 16 countries. Dang.
