Trust no one or at least always be cautious of strangers..no matter how harmless they may seem.
25-year-old Muhmammad Amirul Shafiq learnt a hard lesson on trust when he ended up being locked up against his will at a house in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, for five days.

"I was only give rice and biscuits and sometimes nothing at all," he said as reported by Harian Metro.
Amirul said that he never imagined that a handphone sale would end up with him being kidnapped and trapped.
Detailing his frightening experience, Amirul, who sells handphones, said that he first got to know the buyer after the man expressed interest in purchasing 3 iPhone phones from him.
According to the report, Amirul was delivering the phones to buyer at a premis in Sungai Besi at 7.30pm last Sunday (7 March) when things took a turn for the worse.
"As soon as he arrived, he asked me to follow him into his car as he didn't want anyone to see him counting so much money," he said adding that the phones cost a bit more than RM17,000 in total.
Upon entering the car, Amirul noticed two other men inside.
The buyer then suddenly sprayed mosquito repellant into his eyes and punched him.
They also tied his hands and covered his mouth with tape.
"I tried to scream for help but no one noticed. After that, they drove to a pharmacy in Sungai Besi.
"I was then given 10 pills and was forced to swallow it," he said.
All that was left at the scene was the bike that Amirul rode there to meet the buyer.
"The attacker along with the two men that were in the car then left me with their friends.
"One friend (at the house) also pretended to be a cop and said that they had detained me for commiting some offence," he explained.
While trapped at the house, Amirul said that he dreamt that he was rescued by the police and thank goodness, the dream came true.
He was eventually found and released when police officials raided the home on 11 March.
It is understood that the police have also arrested those involved.
Why did the group kidnap Amirul and what exactly were they trying to get from him? That details remain blurry.
Just keep tabs of this space, we'll update with details as soon as we get them.
In the meantime you guys, please please be careful.
