M'sian Wins Hearts After Running Half Marathon Hand-in-Hand with Blind Friend in Touching Display of Friendship
Running a marathon is no easy feat, let alone completing a 21KM run while guiding a visually impaired runner. But that’s exactly what happened during the recent Score Marathon 2025, which took place last Sunday.
In a powerful display of friendship, two Malaysians warmed the hearts of many as they ran the marathon together, hand-in-hand.

In a video shared on TikTok, one of the runners, known by his username @ammarnaimazmi, can be seen using a resistance band to stay connected to his visually impaired friend, @adryfazmi, as they ran. The video also shows how the pair supported each other throughout the marathon before finally crossing the finish line together.
Needless to say, social media users were touched. Many took the opportunity to send their well wishes, while others shared that they had seen the duo during the race.
“Aww, I saw them at the finish line holding hands. I thought they were best friends, and the backstory turns out to be even better.”
