Nine Family Members Who Shared Hotpot Meal Contract Coronavirus
Well, we can now officially rule out the notion that high temperatures could kill the coronavirus.
A family in Hong Kong who shared a hotpot meal recently has reportedly contracted the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
According to a report by news agency AFP, there were 19 people in the family who shared the hotpot meal over the Lunar New Year holiday at the end of January.

Out of the 19 at the table, only nine of them contracted the viral disease.
The news agency reported that a 24-year-old man and his 91-year-old grandmother, were initially confirmed to have the virus but after the hotpot meal, the man’s father, mother, two aunts and three cousins were also reportedly infected.

The latest case involved a 32-year-old Malaysian who worked in Macau but returned to Malaysia last week before he developed symptoms related to coronavirus.
With the official coronavirus death toll exceeding 1,000 people, it is time that we take good care of ourselves.
