Have many thoughts running in your mind but too lazy to type them out in proper words and sentences?

We have just the thing for you!

A paralysed man from Australia has become the first person in the world to tweet a message by just thinking about it.

According to a report in IBT, the amazing feat was possible thanks to a microchip the size of a paperclip that was implanted into his brain.

Technology made it possible

Philip O'Keefe, a motor neuron disease patient’s said ‘Hello World’ via the brain implant, which has been described as the "first direct-thought tweet".

The tiny brain implant was able to pick up his brain signals, read his thoughts and translate it into a text.

The interface that made the translation successful was created by California-based brain-computer interface company, Synchron.

In another tweet shared on Synchron CEO Thomas Oxley's account, O'Keefe who suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) since 2015, said, "No need for keystrokes or voices. I created this tweet just by thinking about it. #helloworldbci."

With technology, the world is the limit!
