The new Movement Control Order (MCO) has started for six districts in Selangor, including Petaling, which means we can say hello to roadblocks.

If you're a frontliner, someone who has to be at your workplace in order to get your job done or just unfortunate enough to work for an employer who wants you to be physically present at work even though you can do your work from home just as effectively or have a need to cross district borders for any reason, you might want to take note.

The locations of the roadblocks

Malay Mail reported that there will be four roadblocks in the Petaling district.

The four roadblocks will be located at the toll plazas of Sungai Buloh, Kota Damansara, Damansara and Subang.

Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid told the news portal that despite having only four roadblocks, there will be more police on the ground to ensure SOPs are followed.

You shall not pass.
The local council will also be doing their parts to ensure that Malaysians are not flouting the SOPs.

He advised people to follow the SOPs to break the chain of COVID-19 infections.

There you have it, guys. If you're passing through any of the toll plazas, be sure to consider the time it'll take to pass through so you're not late for work or your important appointments.

Stay safe!
