It's here! I'm honored to share that @Playboy has named me a 2016 Renegade and has featured me in their piece!! https://t.co/Tc0LuwMPfB
— Noor Tagouri (@NTagouri) September 22, 2016
Tagouri posed away in full confidence in front of what seems to be a painting of an American flag, clad in black jeans, leather jacket, Converse shoes, and an olive green hijab to compliment her edgy look. The University of Maryland graduate currently produces for Newsy, an American news site that produces short form video news.

Her feature has sparked an interesting debate among netizens. Some commended Tagouri’s brilliant interview with Playboy while others seemed not too keen with her association with the former soft-porn magazine.
Brilliant @NTagouri, first woman to appear in @Playboy w hijab. If you're criticizing her, you're missing the point! https://t.co/4k391gJ5bt

I don’t agree with @NTagouri appearing in a magazine that has unapologetically profited off the sexualisation and objectification of women.

@NTagouri 's feature in playboy focuses on her goals, her career and her passion. she's not sexualized. that is badass. that is history.

Disagree with what our sis @NTagouri decided to do re interview, BUT the attack against her character & language being used is APPALLING!
